Staff Accountant - Vietnamese Speaking CA-San Jose job at Loan Factory San Jose, CA, US

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Entering and consolidating transactions on QuickBooks for the company and office branches.
Prepares and records journal entries and analyzes account information and trends.
Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled monthly.
Supervise payroll staff to prepare payrolls and to reconcile PTO, employee benefits, and 401K.
Prepare timely and regular accounts analysis and reconciliations.
Ad hoc assignment from Accounting Manager.

Experience: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

At least 2 years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Solid knowledge of current and applicable GAAP standards/principles.
Experience with financial reporting requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, analyze and interpret financial information and make recommendations to management.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Must be proactive, able to organize, meet deadlines and set priorities.
