About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic legal advisor, providing counsel on a wide range of corporate, transactional, and compliance matters. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's mission to develop effective therapies for central nervous system disorders. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, providing legal support for corporate transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the areas of FDA and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be admitted to at least one U.S. state bar, and have a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, with a strong background in corporate law and a preference for those with biotech or life sciences experience. Applicants for the Senior Director, Corporate Counsel position at the company should be adept at managing legal risks, have a proven track record in contract negotiation, and experience in advising on regulatory and compliance matters specific to the biotech industry.
