Job Title: Business Analyst – Enterprise Data Governance (EDG)

Location: Austin, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team within the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) group.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in refining and defining requirements for Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and work closely with teams to drive enhancements using the Informatica platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine requirements for large-scale MDM solutions (multi-terabyte scope).
• Gather and document technical and business requirements related to master data.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve MDM tools and capabilities.
• Test MDM application and database enhancements before production release.
• Support the management of healthcare provider and managed care member domains.
• Work with data architects and subject matter experts to model as-is/to-be processes.
• Participate in Agile project deployments and SDLC processes.
• Develop training materials and documentation for internal users.
• Support HIPAA compliance and HHS security standards.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and governance councils.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years as a business analyst in healthcare, HHS, or large insurance systems.
• 7+ years of experience engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) best practices.
• 4+ years implementing MDM solutions using the Informatica tool suite.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years facilitating business requirement sessions and stakeholder alignment.
• 3+ years working in Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with logical and physical data modeling (ER/Studio preferred).
