Job Description

LHH is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit in Anne Arundel County to hire a qualified Program Support Specialist. This role require 5 days a week onsite and is a is a temporary role, paying $23-$27 per hour, with an expected duration of 3+ , and an immediate start is preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with program enrollment by explaining requirements, guiding them through applications, and collecting necessary documentation.
  • Develop and monitor individualized plans focused on financial stability and self-sufficiency, while coordinating with internal and external service providers.
  • Manage case files, process applications, maintain communication with landlords, and support legal and housing-related services.
  • Serve as a liaison to community partners, provide referrals, respond to inquiries, and support appointment scheduling and document follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, generate reports, and ensure compliance with all administrative procedures and client confidentiality.
  • Stay informed on local resources, public benefits, and housing policies to support effective client advocacy.
  • Educate clients on rental agreements, housing responsibilities, and available support services.
  • Perform other administrative and program-related tasks as needed to support team operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively across diverse communities.
  • Proficient in managing sensitive information, maintaining detailed records, and using digital tools for case tracking and communication.
  • Able to work collaboratively with both internal staff and external partners to support client needs and program goals.
