Product Owner (AI/Automation)

Position Overview:

Location: Onsite during US business hours
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI/Automation Product Owner/Business Analyst to act as a bridge between business needs and technical innovation. This role involves closely collaborating with a specific business unit to identify pain points and implement Automation and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong business analysis background, experience with Agile methodologies, and a passion for AI and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Engagement & AI Strategy (30%)

Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand operational pain points and identify opportunities for AI solutions.
Formulate a strategic roadmap for AI-driven improvements and automation, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure their needs are communicated effectively.

Business Analysis & Process Documentation (60%)

Gather and document business requirements from leadership, translating them into actionable items for technical teams.
Create Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and perform process mapping to identify areas for automation and process improvements.
Work within Deluxe’s AI & Automation framework, leveraging technical knowledge to provide insights and direction.

AI Solution Rollout & Leadership (10%)

Oversee the implementation and rollout of AI solutions, ensuring smooth adoption across business units.
Provide leadership in managing project timelines, change management, and coordinating demos of new AI/Automation solutions.
Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals during the implementation phase.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Business & Process Analysis and Documentation.
3+ years of experience in AI and Emerging Technologies, or a strong interest in learning and applying AI solutions professionally.
3+ years of Stakeholder Engagement experience, with a focus on building trust and aligning business and technical objectives.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
Knowledge of AI & Automation frameworks with experience in building MVPs, POCs, or similar solutions.
