Job Details
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee design, reliability, and improvement of utility systems (steam, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, wastewater, energy).
- Lead facility infrastructure upgrades (building envelope, drainage, dock doors, critical systems).
- Ensure compliance with engineering codes, food safety, and safety standards.
- Manage capital projects from scope development to execution and closeout.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare and submit capital expenditure requests.
- Manage contractors/engineering partners for cost-effective delivery.
- Support product/process expansions through infrastructure readiness.
- Maintain system documentation, drawings, and engineering standards.
- Contribute to long-range capital planning and forecasting.

Qualifications (Needed)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering.
- Proven capital project leadership.
- Strong knowledge of utility systems & facilities engineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering codes, safety standards, and compliance.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: Food & beverage/aseptic experience, FDA-regulated utilities, CMMS (Infor/Hexagon EAM), PE license or PMP.
