Job Description

RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Painter to join our team in Deer Park, TX with $20/hr pay. This position involves preparing surfaces using blasting techniques and applying industrial coatings. The ideal candidate has experience operating blasting and painting equipment, follows safety protocols rigorously, and is detail-oriented in ensuring high-quality coating application. Duration: 6 - months contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM (Saturday & Sunday as needed)

Job Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation

• Remove dirt, rust, old paint, and other contaminants from surfaces using various blasting media such as sand, grit, or shot.
• Prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and durability of coatings.
• Verify all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from defects before applying paint.

Coating Application

• Apply industrial coatings such as paints, primers, and sealants using methods including spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
• Mix and apply coatings in accordance with job specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure consistent application and finish quality throughout the coating process.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating blasting and coating application equipment.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
• Familiarity with safety practices related to blasting and painting operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in industrial environments.
