Job Description Salary: $30-$45 per hour Gregor Industries, a top-performing Commercial General Contractor based in New York, is seeking a talented Site Supervisor to join our team of professionals. Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience managing crews in a commercial setting. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years experience in commercial construction in a supervisory role. Excellent leadership skills. Available to work nights and weekends. Ability to travel to various job sites; vehicle or reliable transportation required. Job sites are located in the New Jersey area. Background in carpentry is a plus. Site supervising experience of 3+ years. Experience with night/second shift, some day work, primarily nights and weekends. Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints. Possible overtime. Excellent communication skills, including email correspondence, documentation of RFIs, and taking photos/videos. License/Certifications: Driver's License (Required). OSHA 30 (Required). Willingness to travel. SST 62 (Required). DOB certification (Required). Responsibilities: Maintain managerial presence on job sites from start to finish. Manage multiple trades on-site. Prepare and follow effective construction schedules. Ensure compliance with project schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants. Supervise project staff and ensure compliance with specifications. Coordinate with company personnel and clients to resolve issues. Develop strategies for contractors. Estimate change orders and monitor construction activities. Ensure adherence to construction specifications and record drawings. Collaborate with the design team to ensure document accuracy and maintain quality and cost control. Oversee field staff and participate in progress meetings. Develop project control tools and cost reports. Maintain data accuracy and safety systems. Manage health and safety programs on-site. Train employees, visitors, and contractors on safety practices. Develop employee safety training programs. Manage material safety data sheets for controlled products. Job Details: Full-time position. Night shifts (not overnight). Weekday and weekend availability.
