Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Skid Steer and Excavator equipment in a safe, effective manner for construction projects.
• Perform tasks such as grading, trenching, material loading, and demolition.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment including inspections, minor repairs, and clean-up.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure job progress and safety.
• Follow job site safety regulations, protocols, and procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions or any job site hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily work and equipment use.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Skid Steer and Excavator operator (minimum 2-5 years preferred).
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems related to heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and job site safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional types of heavy equipment (e.g., Bulldozer, Backhoe) is a plus.
• Knowledge of GPS equipment controls for precise operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues.
