Job Description

Seeking a Healthcare IT project manager to join an existing PMO Team. Contract to hire/hybrid 20% in of office.

$34-$39/HR

· Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional programs and projects across areas such as IT strategy, telehealth, site and service development, insurance reimbursement, and more.
• Current PMP certification, consistently upholds PMO’s PMI-based standards
• Very detailed oriented, consistently meeting stringent documentation requirements according to PMO standards
• Skilled at professional communications and negotiations with all levels including senior leaders
• Infectious positive attitude and humble approach to learn as well as teach, curious at all times, asking the right questions
• Analytical thinker great at seeing and reporting on cross-project dependencies
• Accustomed to personal responsibility for project performance metrics throughout the lifecycle, successfully overcoming normal challenges to scope, schedule, and budget
• Track and report project status and performance leveraging metrics and dashboards
• Change management and communications champion, finding new ways to align with other concurrent initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related area with 5 years’ experience described above.
• Project management (PMP),additional certifications valued
• Minimum 5 years of progressive lifecycle experience implementing process improvement methodologies
• Requires mid-level knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts including waterfall, hybrid, and agile
• Demonstrated advanced, effective writing skills, normal business math, and report creation/visualization
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positivity and negotiate without taking sides
• Highly professional at all times, demonstrating respect for peers, and support of team and organizational goals
