Russell Tobin's client is hiring an Event Project Manager in New York, NY

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid, New York, NY 10010

Pay rate : $48-$52/hr

Responsibilities:

• Manage all NYC event requests end-to-end, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
• Provide white-glove planning support for NYC-based events with 50+ attendees, ensuring exceptional hospitality and experience.
• Lead a team of contingent event specialists, hosting weekly team meetings, managing timecards, hiring, and contract extensions.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including Workplace, Physical Security, Executive Business Partners, IT & AV, and ERGs.
• Oversee strategic planning and execution of large-scale events across global hubs.
• Maintain centralized data and reporting for events, leveraging analytics and feedback to drive improvements.
• Create and refine SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure high-quality and scalable service delivery.
• Provide hands-on support during high-volume days to ensure ticket resolution and service continuity.
• Act as project manager for major milestone events, including our anniversary party and End-of-Year Celebration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in event program management, preferably with a focus on facilities, workplace services, and customer support.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
• Experience coordinating global or large-scale events is a strong plus.
