Job Type Internship Description UCFS is accepting Dental Assistant students for externship! Experiences for students will include: Assists dentists with all dental procedures utilizing fourhanded dentistry Exposes, develops, and duplicates radiographs, takes impressions and pours models per generally accepted practice and department standards Provides routine operational support such as performing sterilization and disinfection procedures per OSHA standards; tracking lab work sent and received; maintaining supply stock in operatories; laundering staff scrub jackets and related routine operational duties Requirements Expectations for the internship include: Produces work in compliance with quantity and quality standards Meets all attendance requirements and arrives to work/events in a punctual manner Complies with all safety and regulatory rules and guidelines Manages competing demands and organizes work in order to complete in a timely manner Works with peers and management in a cooperative, courteous, and professional manner Actively engages in meetings, projects, and activities related to organizational mission and vision Service, both internal and external, is provided with courtesy and professionalism UCFS is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees as protected by applicable federal and/or state law.
