Junior Dance Teacher

For Recent Graduates & Emerging Educators
Ideal for new dance educators just starting their teaching journey, Junior Dance Teachers assist senior staff while developing their skills. You will:

• Support senior instructors with lesson planning and classroom management

• Lead warm-ups, drills, and beginner combinations for younger or less experienced students

• Provide positive encouragement and foster a welcoming learning environment

• Learn and grow under mentorship from senior teachers

Qualifications:

• Recently graduated or currently studying dance/performing arts preferred

• Strong dance foundation in one or more of these styles:  ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, poms

• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and great communication skills

• Flexible to work evenings and weekends

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Senior Dance Teacher

For Experienced Dance Professionals
Senior Dance Teachers lead classes and shape our studio’s dance community through teaching and mentorship. You will:

• Teach multiple dance styles across age groups, including  ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and poms

• Design and implement curriculum and choreography

• Mentor junior teachers and help develop their teaching skills

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring studio environment

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional dance teaching experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Dance or related field preferred

• Proficiency in choreography, dance notation, and varied styles

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
