A family-owned construction firm where generations have learned trade from the ground up is looking for a Commissioning Manager . As the Construction Commissioning Manager , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all aspects of the commissioning process for new construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This position involves working closely with project managers, contractors, engineers, and clients to verify and validate that all systems and equipment are functioning as designed before final project handover. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the commissioning process for construction projects from initiation to completion. Develop and manage commissioning plans and schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Coordinate with construction, engineering, and design teams to ensure smooth integration of systems. Review and ensure the accuracy of commissioning documents, including reports, checklists, and final testing procedures. Perform system inspections and functional tests to verify performance against design specifications. Provide training to operational staff on system functionality and maintenance requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in construction commissioning, project management, or related roles (5 years preferred). Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and commissioning processes. Experience on Data Center Projects Proficiency in project management software and commissioning tools. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
