Job DescriptionJob Description Position Summary Delta Painting and Wallcovering, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our team in Warrenton, VA. In this on-site, full-time role, you’ll prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial painting and wallcovering projects, helping ensure our bids are competitive and profitable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in commercial construction estimating. Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, scope of work, and contract documents for painting and wallcovering projects Perform detailed material takeoffs and quantity calculations Prepare precise cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects Consult with clients, general contractors, architects, and suppliers to clarify project requirements and resolve issues. Maintain a directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and industry contacts. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure estimates reflect accurate project costs and timelines. Stay current with industry pricing trends, materials, and best practices. Qualifications Proven experience as an estimator in the commercial painting, wallcovering, or construction industry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Proficient in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Excel, or similar) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Ability to work on-site in Warrenton, VA Ready to advance your estimating career?
