About the Role:
Job Title: Assembly Technician/ Assembly Engineer/ Assembler/ Assembly Line Worker/ Assembly Specialist/ Assembly Worker/ Electronic Assembler/ Mechanical Assembler/ Final Assembly/ New Product Innovation Engineer/ NPI Engineer/ Aviation Technician/ Manufacturing Technician/ Manufacturing Engineer/ Mechanical Technician/ Aviation Engineer/ Test Technician
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration with Design Teams:
◦ Work closely with design engineers to understand the product specifications and requirements.
◦ Provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM) and suggest improvements to enhance the assembly process.
2. Process Development:
◦ Develop and optimize assembly processes for new drone products.
◦ Implement efficient manufacturing workflows, considering cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
◦ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and process.
3. Prototyping and Validation:
◦ Oversee the creation of prototypes for new drone models.
◦ Conduct thorough testing and validation of assembly processes to identify and resolve potential issues.
4. Quality Assurance:
◦ Establish quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications.
◦ Implement and monitor rigorous quality assurance protocols throughout the process.
5. Supply Chain Coordination:
◦ Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of components for drone products.
◦ Identify and address any supply chain issues that may impact production schedules.
6. Continuous Improvement:
◦ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
◦ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall product quality.
Requirements:
Location: Seattle, WA (Fully Onsite - 5 days/week)
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
