As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries related to access control procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies and guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
