Job Summary

This person will be assisting with picking and packing Customer orders, service orders, and assist with the day-to-day warehouse duties. Prepare shipments: read sales order, pull items, box/palletize, weigh, fill out customer pick list, attach copy of RF Smart generated CO Label to the shipment and forward original paperwork to Logistics.

Job Description

• Responsible for receiving items in daily and ensuring they are properly labeled with correct part number and stocked in correct bin location.
• Prepare shipments: read sales order, pull items, box/palletize, weigh, fill out customer pick list, attach copy of RF Smart generated CO Label to the shipment and forward original paperwork to Logistics.
• Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies/ problems with material.
• Secure the warehouse from loss by:
  • Challenging unauthorized personnel upon entry as to their needs.
  • Assuring that the warehouse is locked and secured when not attended.
  • Report any theft, loss or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
  • Other than warehouse personnel conduct transactions properly.

• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas of the warehouse as required to meet schedule due date.
• Work extra hours daily and on weekends as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor to ensure all assignments are complete
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly
• All other duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Must have communication skills
• There may be heavy lifting associated with this role. Workers may be required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Any material/product over 50 lbs would require a 2 person lift or will use equipment on site to lift

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate i.e., no air conditioning in the plant
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs
• Must be able to work around chemicals assigned to the department and wear the proper PPE
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job-training status for the first two or three weeks of employment
• Schedule:
  • Dayshift Monday to Friday 6:00am – 5:00pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break

Pay Rate/Salary

• Starting at $18.00/hr and more depending on experience
