VP of Operations

Position Overview
As the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and aviation operations of our company. You will be tasked with ensuring the highest quality products are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
• Manage all manufacturing and aviation operations, including production schedules, staffing, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
• Implement and manage ISO/AS9100 quality management systems
• Oversee electromechanical component engineering and manufacturing
• Implement Lean Manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Manage ERP and Sage system implementation and integration
• Perform capacity planning and line balancing
• Manage BOM and component manufacturing
• Oversee MRO and component repair processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful product development and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in operations and manufacturing, with a focus on aviation and aerospace
• Experience with MRO and component repair processes
• Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 quality management systems
• Experience with electromechanical component engineering and manufacturing
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing processes
• Experience with ERP and Sage systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Capacity planning and line balancing experience
