We provide life-saving services for pets in need in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and Grays Harbor counties. Our services include financial assistance for spay/neuter and veterinary care, as well as a weekly pet food bank in Olympia with mobile days in Grays Harbor County. We are dedicated to keeping pets safe, healthy, and home. Role Description This is a role for a Volunteer Treasurer at Concern for Animals. The Volunteer Treasurer will be responsible for managing the organization's financial records, budgeting, and financial reporting. They will also work closely with the board of directors to ensure financial stability and compliance with regulations. The treasurer is also a board member. Qualifications Financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills Experience in non-profit financial management Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and remotely Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
