Job Description
Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ? As a VIE, you will support the development and implementation of new physical processes and digital tools which will be validated by applying engineering analysis coupled to material fundamentals. You will be involved in all phases of development including pilot, scale-up, and implementation at the manufacturing site. You will also transform project objectives into actionable tasks including research of technologies, design and execution of experiments, analysis of results, and generation of IP and technical reports.
The main role As a VIE, you will be exposed and will contribute to all the strategic and tactical initiatives linked to bringing a product to market from the early conception to the commercialization phase, including but not limited to:
- Supporting and leading the technical transfer for research and development activities in all aspects of STONEfacade team and new product development.
- Preparing trial plans and providing technical support and assistance for trials, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new technologies (physical and digital) utilizing engineering tools and principles.
- Identifying opportunities that could impact sustainability with innovative solutions and working with R&D, operations, and technical teams to develop and deploy.
- Serving and supporting as a technical process expert in concrete science and formulation for the plant.
- Developing and encouraging innovation and Intellectual Property (IP) development and fostering IP development through the patent process with legal support.
- Documentation and communication of projects, trial reports, scientific developments, etc.
- Interacting with raw material planners, purchasing, R&D, engineering, and site plant management in support of supply chain forecasting, supply flexibility, and process optimization.
- Designing, running experiments, operating pilot equipment, and analyzing the experimental outcomes.
- Playing an active role in lab management: safety aspects, equipment maintenance, 5S, lab audit preparation and action follow-up, lab postings, regular equipment checks, etc.
A plus for this role - You'll be based in Malvern Center and will work closely with different colleagues in the facility.

extra information This is an 18-month mission, non-extendable and can often lead to full-time offer within the organization .

- Master's degree in chemical, Material Science, Polymer, Civil, or other similar fields.
- Strong technical background, interested in product management.
- Data analysis oriented, with some knowledge in digital tools for image processing & rendering and data analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment required.
- Curiosity, creativity, and ability to think outside the box.
