As an Access Control officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Assist in the implementation of security-related measures specific to a technology-focused environment.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with onsite staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid drivers license is required and must meet the Allied Universal driver policy requierments.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
