Overview

ARES Corporation seeks a Sr. Reliability Consultant with experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency. The candidate will join ARES' space consulting group as a part-time employee.

Work location is at customer facilities in Littleton, CO or Huntsville, AL. This position has the potential to be hybrid for well qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Advise the organization regarding various reliability products and tasks.
• Review the development of a Probabilistic Risk Assessment and provide guidance.
• Support development of system reliability estimates based on design, design heritage, test and operational data using statistical techniques.
• Support development of software reliability predictions.

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills for system evaluation.
• Ability to operate under the technical direction of senior analysts.
• Good communication skills to communicate to management and customers
• Good time management and organization skills, with the capability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
• Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results

• Required Experience:
• BS/BA degree in engineering, math, or science with 20 years of professional experience in engineering or related technical field.
