Job Description: The Database Developer will work with our data warehousing team to transform transactional data into datasets that are consumable by a variety of consumers, for reporting and analytics. The successful candidate will be flexible and forward-leaning, able to learn new tools and skills, and able to learn new data domains as the data warehouse grows.
HOW A DATABASE DVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Clearance: Active Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust or similar clearance that will gain reciprocity
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience creating complex SQL in complex data environments
- Strong experience troubleshooting and tuning SQL
- Team-focused approach
- Bachelor's Degree plus at least 3- 5 years of experience
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a CBP public trust.
- Candidate must be local to the National Capital Region.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle and DB2 (or at least one of these)
- Experience in government environment
- Experience in database administration

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
