Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available within a dynamic K-12 school setting in Woodbridge, VA. This contract role is designed for the current school year and offers the opportunity to support students in their communication development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the SLP in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Monitor, document, and report student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as required by state regulations.
• Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt therapy techniques.
