Job Description

A K-12 school in Oakland, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support their speech therapy program on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing valuable assistance to the speech-language pathologist in delivering effective therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Support speech therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Prepare materials, document student progress, and maintain confidential records.
• Promote communication skills and assist students in reaching their therapy goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
