Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Worland, WY. This contract position spans the entire school year and offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to student communication development within a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans for students.
• Provide direct therapy services under supervision, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Ensure compliance with school policies and privacy regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working as an SLPA in either school or healthcare settings preferred.
• No state-specific license required; however, certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or another recognized credentialing organization is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.
