Specialist, Clinical Application Millennium Physician Group Full Time (Monday-Friday) The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective use and management of clinical applications within the organization. This role involves problem resolution, application management, collaboration with various teams, and ongoing education to enhance clinical workflows and support the overall efficiency of clinical operations. The specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of clinical systems, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and operational success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all clinical applications, positioning yourself as a trusted expert for project teams and departmental initiatives. Play a crucial role in planning and coordinating application upgrades, collaborating with the Learning and Development team to create engaging training materials that empower users. Field incoming problem tickets and support calls from Clinical Application Support Coordinators, providing effective solutions and support. Serve as a key escalation point for complex inquiries and challenging issues. Initiate service calls to vendors and ensure timely resolution of problems. Conduct thorough testing of fixes and perform follow-ups to confirm that issues have been fully resolved, enhancing our service quality. Identify trends and sources of technical problems to prevent recurrence, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base to streamline troubleshooting processes. Assist in the design, development, and testing of innovative clinical applications that enhance workflow efficiency. Effectively communicate application issues and updates to key stakeholders, including management and end users, fostering transparency and collaboration. Provide essential support for testing both new and existing workflows, ensuring successful integration and functionality. Work collaboratively with diverse teams, including Application and Workflow, Learning and Development, TIS Clinical Systems, and TIS Integration, to achieve shared goals. Play a vital role during Go-Live events and system upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and user support. Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communication, or a related discipline). 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
