Overview

Crotched Mountain School is seeking a dedicated Special Education Coordinator to join our team and make a lasting impact on students' lives. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Principal to ensure high-quality, compliant special education services.

 

About Crotched Mountain School:

Nestled in the beautiful Monadnock region of New Hampshire, CMS offers a therapeutic and adventure-based learning environment for neurodiverse learners. Our expansive campus features hiking trails, lakes, an Olympic-sized pool, a media center, a bowling alley, and a panoramic library — all designed to help students thrive socially, academically, and emotionally.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight (not implementation) of IEPs and triennials while monitoring for compliance
• Act as liaison to families, school districts, area agencies, and vocational rehab services
• Stay current on special ed law and best practices

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field (required)
• Valid NH Special Education Certification or ability/interest in obtaining
• No experience required - will train!
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Strong experience and understanding of IEPs
