Job Description

A high school teaching opportunity is available for a Spanish educator to deliver comprehensive language instruction while fostering cultural appreciation. This contract position supports the development of students proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, conversational skills, and an understanding of the history and literature of Spanish-speaking countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to high school students.
• Teach Spanish language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.
• Integrate cultural, historical, and literary content related to Spanish-speaking regions.
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Spanish Teaching License with Spanish Endorsement preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Two years of recent teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Location: Richmond, VA (High School setting)
Assignment Type: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
