About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Toxicologist to join a leading environmental consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in toxicology, risk assessment, and environmental health and safety. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex scientific projects and collaborate with high-profile clients while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of scientific reports and technical documents related to chemical exposure and health risk assessments.
  • Manage and mentor teams in addressing environmental health and safety challenges.
  • Conduct risk assessments to evaluate human health and ecological impacts of chemical exposure.
  • Review and critically evaluate scientific literature and project-specific documents.
  • Provide expert consultation and direction to clients in environmental and industrial hygiene-related fields.
  • Participate in the emergency response program as part of on-call duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Toxicology or related field, or ABT Certification with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience in scientific consulting, particularly in risk assessment and toxicology .
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows -based platforms and analytical chemistry methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain HAZWOPER , DISA , and TWIC certifications.
