Our client, a leading technology company in Lisle, Illinois, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with strong experience in sales and use tax to join their dynamic team. This hybrid position offers the perfect balance of flexibility, with 3 days onsite in their modern office and 2 days remote.

Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Handle month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and review sales and use tax filings across multiple states
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and tax compliance
• Provide support on special projects and process improvements

Senior Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on sales and use tax
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
