Summary

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage and oversee daily operations of the Accounting and Finance Departments. This is a hands-on operational role in a fast growing technology company. 

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close cycle including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Research and analyze expense variances and prepare reporting for presentation to management
• Assist with management, development and documentation of key processes and controls
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations
• Cross train across financial team roles as backup
• Assist with the annual audit process including working directly with external auditors
• Work cross functionally with counterparts in the business to support and educate non- accounting employees on accounting needs
• Assist in execution and implementation of various financial projects and system initiatives

Experience

• 3+ years of accounting experience 
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Netsuite experience a plus
• Experience with inventory cost accounting and/or lease accounting a plus
• BS degree in Accounting
