Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated In Vivo Pharmacology Research Associate to join our research team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in animal handling, in vivo tumor models, cell culture, and immunological analysis. This role involves executing in vivo studies using xenograft and syngeneic mouse models of solid tumors, preparing and dosing therapeutic T cells and other agents, and analyzing the results to support oncology and immunology research.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently handle animals, including blood sample collection and performing necropsy for organ/tumor sample collection.
• Set up and execute in vivo studies using xenograft and syngeneic mouse models of solid tumors.
• Conduct animal preparation/surgery, tumor implantation via various routes (s.c., i.p., i.v., or orthotopic).
• Prepare and dose therapeutic T cells and other agents via various administration routes.
• Track tumor growth using bioluminescence/fluorescence, micro-CT, and caliper measurements.
• Monitor animal health, collect blood, tissue, and tumor samples.
• Perform cell culture and process organs and tumor samples for immunological and pathological analysis.
• Support the maintenance of in vivo and ex vivo labs in collaboration with other team members.
• Collect, enter, and analyze study data, presenting results to project teams.
• Generate and maintain electronic lab notebook (ELN) reports, including statistical data analysis.
• Work closely with members of the In Vivo Pharmacology group and other cross-functional scientists to support project goals.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Oncology, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or
• B.S. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Oncology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in executing xenograft and syngeneic tumor models using immunocompromised (NSG-MHCI/II-dKO) and immune-competent mice with adoptive T cell transfer.
• Skilled in mammalian cell culture techniques (cell line passaging, cryopreservation, cell thawing, cell counting).
• Proficient with high-parameter flow cytometry for analysis.
• Strong data analysis skills using software packages such as FlowJo, FCS Express, and Prism.
• Experience with immunology and oncology-related assays, particularly in cell therapy, with complex analysis and cell sorting experience as a plus.
