Overview We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Intelligent Grid Solutions team. This position will be an essential part of our team delivering essential utility technologies. Sample projects could include software deployment and upgrades, IT/OT integration and execution, testing/quality control delivery, smart grid technology deployment, and project management office (PMO) operations. The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex technology projects to our clients. Specifically, they will bring a high-energy attitude with excellent project management and communication skills. Additionally, they will work with our technical specialists and various client stakeholders to deliver technology projects with the highest confidence; on time and on budget. Key capabilities will include: Project plan development – waterfall, agile, or hybrid Project scope of work (SOW) creation and negotiation Project communication and stakeholder management Project financial and schedule tracking and management Executive sponsorship engagement and presentation Effective client side and TRC internal reporting Business development initiation and support Responsibilities Deliver large or multiple medium software deployment and/or upgrades Maintain project plans, documents and timelines Govern the Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions (RAID) log Gather and analyze status for project deliverables Monitor and report on testing/quality assurance process Control project schedule and financial reporting Execute change management process inline with delivery contract and communication plan Develop and maintain project status reporting Lead project meetings and workshops Create presentations for all levels of organizations Lead project close out process Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative nature with a focus on transparent issue identification and resolution Clear and timely communication internally and externally Ability to provide expert leadership to the Client team, including project sponsors and other stakeholders Looks for ways to improve the delivery process, mitigate risks/issues, and improve customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis Travel: Up to 50% travel Requirements: A degree from an accredited school or university is required; master's degree preferred Project management certifications (PMP, agile (SAFe, scrum, Kanban), etc.) Ten plus years of utility software delivery experience Understanding of software development lifecycle Strong organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data Benefits: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
