We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager in the field of Engineering for our Medical Industry division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all engineering projects related to our medical equipment and facilities. This role is at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the successful design, development, and implementation of our engineering projects. The position calls for a professional with a strong background in Civil Engineering and a proven track record in project management. The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the medical industry's regulatory environment and its impact on project management.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of engineering projects from the concept stage through to completion.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Comply with all regulatory standards and procedures related to the medical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality control to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Engineering field, preferably within the Medical Industry.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in engineering and technology.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
