About

About the team
The Internal Audit team plans and executes audit projects according to audit plan and risk assessments by evaluating efficiency and effectiveness of current-state financial, compliance, and operational processes and controls. We advise business functions in addressing risks and control violations, developing solid solutions, and tracking and reporting on the progress of the process and compliance improvement.
This position is designed for an individual based in NYC or Los Angeles with a strong understanding of business and financial processes and controls. The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of the audit process, possess good analytical skills, and be able to work independently within a team. We are currently seeking a candidate who is self-motivated and possesses experience in leading a team to conduct audits, demonstrating proficiency in effective project management, audit planning, as well as engaging in dialogues and delivering presentations to senior management. Additionally, this person should be able to multitask, extend beyond their immediate department, and influence organizational objectives or assist in achieving organizational measurements.
Responsibilities
* Developing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, and audit testing independently.
* Leading all phases of an audit from the planning stage to the publication of the audit report.
* Conducting effective reviews of audits and providing value-added comments to team members.
* Quantifying materiality and articulating business risks associated with findings.
* Alerting management when concerns arise and offering recommendations/solutions to problems.
