Senior Full Stack Web Application Developer

Who We Are

apHarmony is a fast growing software company with offices in Bartlett, IL (Northwest Chicago Suburbs).  We build advanced software applications for businesses across a wide variety of industries.  The types of applications we build are primarily custom web apps, line-of-business systems, and custom API integrations.

Who You Are

You're an experienced and talented SENIOR FULL-STACK WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER looking to join our team.

You're a self-starter, and love to solve exciting design challenges for large e-commerce and manufacturing companies, and implement real-world solutions for a large user base.  You write bullet-proof code, and relish the opportunity to work in an established software development firm with a start-up atmosphere. 

You're a candidate with 5+ years of experience, with a proven ability to build successful software solutions.

Job Overview:

You will be handling the design, implementation, testing, launch, and support of the applications you write.  Developers are expected to be self-sufficient, and comfortable making autonomous decisions related to their code within the team environment.

• Our applications are primarily written in JavaScript (Node.js Back-end, Native JS front-end) and SQL (SQL Server & PostgreSQL)
• You should have solid experience with web application development using a JavaScript stack, and should be excited at the prospect of ramping up quickly with new platforms and technologies
• You should be comfortable with the full software development process, including:
  
  • Analyzing and Defining Requirements
  • Developing Full-stack Applications
  • Testing
  • Deployment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field,
• In-depth understanding of JavaScript,
• Ability to write cross-browser and cross-platform applications,
• 5+ years experience writing reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Excellent project management skills.
