Senior Compliance Consultant (Underwriting) Join to apply for the Senior Compliance Consultant (Underwriting) role at CNA Insurance . Job Overview This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring industry circulars and legislative changes, and collaborating with Legal and Corporate Compliance to interpret and implement these requirements. The position requires staying updated on state and territory regulations affecting CNA's products and processes, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Implement required regulatory changes and serve as an advisor to underwriting teams. Monitor industry circulars, bulletins, and regulatory releases; translate trends into actionable insights. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to address issues and drive requirements. Coordinate with IT to ensure systems meet business needs. Support responses to audits and market conduct exams, providing analysis and recommendations. Lead projects involving multiple stakeholders and develop compliance requirements with underwriting teams. Manage responses to state inquiries and lead special projects, mentoring team members as needed. Skills & Qualifications Effective communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting practices, and regulatory environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience; professional designations preferred. Additional Information This position is open to candidates in any US location. Salary range in certain jurisdictions: $72,000 - $141,000 annually, based on experience and location.
