As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be part of a dedicated team working in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, being visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Using your observation skills and professionalism, you will help to maintain a secure environment while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets as needed. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and/or visitors to help to deter any unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Collaborate with site staff and local emergency services as required to support security-related operations and emergency response protocols.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
