This full-time counseling position at an elementary school in Crandall, TX, offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact as the sole counselor on campus. Serving a bilingual student population, the role requires a bilingual Spanish-speaking candidate to effectively support diverse learners. The counselor will lead and manage the full Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, providing essential academic assistance, social-emotional learning (SEL), and college readiness guidance tailored to young students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee MTSS interventions to support student success
• Deliver academic support and guidance focused on individual student needs
• Promote social-emotional learning and well-being within the school community
• Prepare students with foundational college readiness skills appropriate for elementary levels
• Utilize the Skyward system for student progress monitoring and documentation
• Serve as the primary counseling resource and advocate for all students on campus

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas School Counselor Certification (required)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
• Experience working with bilingual elementary populations
• Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and implementation
• Knowledge of the Skyward student information system
