Job Title: Roofing Sales Representative
Compensation is commissioned based: Average $70k-$140k
Job Summary:
Are you a contractor that has been working in the roofing industry and tired of working with companies that have unethical practices and want to be part of a roofing company that cares about its employees and its customers? MTN Roofing is seeking a motivated and experienced Roofing Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. We are looking for roofers that care for the customer as much as the industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in sales, preferably within the roofing or construction industry. The Roofing Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and pursue potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, knocking on doors, networking, and referrals.
- Research and analyze market trends to uncover new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their roofing needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess roofing requirements and offer informed recommendations.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market developments and potential opportunities.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including prospecting efforts, client interactions, and sales outcomes.
- Generate regular reports to track progress against sales targets.
- Report all necessary information regarding customers to the office to be filed properly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems and materials.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Results-driven and able to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Compensation:
- Commission based position. $70k-$140k
