About this team The Brand Experience is a core function of the Brand and Community organization, with a sharp focus on elevating an inspired understanding of the brand and product stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon across multiple platforms. Comprised of the core functions of Creative, PR, Social Media, Community, and Retail Brand Experience, Brand and Community is redefining digital and physical brand experiences by providing strategic design for the online‑to‑offline journeys that serve our guests and drive sales. The Retail Brand Experience (RBE) team are the curators of our in‑store brand and product experiences. The RBE team is a core function of the Brand organization, with a sharp focus on storytelling, visual merchandising, and overall store experience. This team brings to life global /regional/ local marketing moments, impacting the retail channel performance while elevating guest experience and brand recognition. A day in the life RBE Lead will be responsible for planning and executing the retail product presentation and storytelling experience across Japan to deliver consistent in‑store / omni guest experience based on global/ regional strategies. This role will manage strategies for visual merchandising, in‑store marketing, campaigns, and new store openings, by partnering cross‑functionally with key audiences such as Merchandising, Retail Operations, Brand, Store Development, and E‑comm. Also providing information and presentations to senior leaders regarding local RBE strategies, progress, and results. Localize strategies for visual merchandising, styling, and storytelling based on global / regional strategies. Support pre‑season, in‑season, and post‑season visual merchandising deliverables and strategies for merchandising and planning, brand, and retail stores. Work closely with regional/global RBE, Brand, and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure market delivers into a global vision. Create the detailed merch map with product and storytelling execution by working closely with regional RBE team & product team for new store openings and optimizations. Provide product presentation guidance & training to store VM leads on VM shifts. Visit stores at least twice a week to monitor if stores adhere to the company's VM standards Instore Marketing Adapt strategy and manage execution of all retail marketing (e.g. Window, signage, lightbox, poster) including global, regional, and local campaigns and initiatives, in partnership with Brand. Manage local VM Calendar for campaign execution at retail. Work with regional RBE team & store development team to design & align locally relevant and regionally consistent guest journey at retail. Support all guests related events at retail to elevate overall brand experience Track & record local VM expenses Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, buying, or retail brand marketing Experience working in retail, apparel experience preferred Experience working cross functionally to deliver outputs Solid knowledge in Adobe Suite, Microsoft office and smartsheet Proficiency in English communication Store planning experience is a plus Must haves Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
