We’re seeking a skilled
Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families seeking advanced reproductive services, including IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). This is a collaborative position that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient education and support.
- This position will need to float between our Middlebury and Danbury locations.
- Women's health experience is a must (Fertility, OBGYN, or Labor and Delivery).
Responsibilities - Educate and guide patients on procedures, treatments, and medication management to promote health and compliance.
- Provide emotional support and counseling referrals to address patients' psychological needs.
- Conduct patient intake, assessments, and coordinate interdisciplinary services.
- Assist physicians with procedures and exams, perform patient follow-ups, and maintain thorough documentation in EMR.
- Triage patient calls, providing guidance based on clinical assessments.
- Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, including consents and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with billing teams to secure authorizations and pre-certifications for procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, cross-training, and support at satellite locations to ensure consistent patient care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and staff development activities.
Qualifications - Required
- Active RN license in Connecticut.
- 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of women's health experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to travel between locations as needed.
- Preferred
- Experience in reproductive endocrinology, infertility (REI), or IVF.
- Phlebotomy and IV start skills.
- Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN).
