Our client is a venture studio based in Orange County, CA. They are an award-winning team of designers, engineers, and product innovators. They work on their own products as well as partner with global brands to build new and innovative products from the ground up to help them stay competitive in their industries. Although headquartered in California, they also have a vibrant center of operations in Toronto, ON. They also have team members scattered across the world who work remotely, so location is not a limiting factor.

Responsibilities:

• Work on QA initiatives throughout the entire agile software development life cycle for mobile, web, and API projects
• Provide appropriate planning and execution of functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing to ensure successful deployment of applications
• Creating and maintaining test suites
• Working closely with developers and product managers to ensure all aspects of quality are discussed and addressed throughout development
• Live by and mentor peers in QA best practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in mobile and web testing using tools such as Proxyman
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman
• Experience in functional, smoke, and regression testing
• Experience in UI automation
• Self-motivated, passionate, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects and platforms
