The Prospect Development Coordinator provides support for prospect research and portfolio management to the Development team. This position will work with the Senior Manager, Prospect Development and Data Analytics on special projects and collaborate with their colleagues on prospect development requests. Opportunity type Job Category Other Job Responsibilities Produce prospect profiles and briefings based on analysis of wealth, philanthropy, interests, and engagement using the internal database and external sources. Conduct comprehensive research on prospects while utilizing public and subscription-based research tools. Ensure that prospect data is up-to-date, accurate, and properly documented in the database. Collaborate with the gift officers on prospect research for individuals, foundations, and corporations. Provide timely responses to multiple requests from gift officers for prospect research and portfolio updates. Prepare research bios on event attendees. Monitor news sources and share relevant articles on donors and prospects with gift officers regularly. Coordinate special projects and conduct proactive research in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Prospect Development and Data Analytics. Work with the Chief Philanthropy Officer to assist with tracking their activities, next steps, and opportunities in the database. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Two or more years of experience in a fundraising environment. Prior experience in prospect research preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint). Experience utilizing fundraising databases (StratusLive, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) as well as research and wealth screening tools (iWave, Foundation Search, etc.). Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously, with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines. Strong sense of discretion, confidentiality, and an ethical approach to fundraising. Ability to work with a high degree of flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Exposure: Business to professional attire. Evening and weekend hours are occasionally required based on the schedule of events.
