We are on the hunt for a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our thriving team in the architecture industry. This role is specifically designed for those with a deep passion and understanding of the Hospitality and/or K-12 sectors. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our architecture projects, both administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution. You'll serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. In addiiton, actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while working on high-profile hospitality or K-12 projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of project management including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit and Sketchup for creating detailed architectural designs.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage potential risks or obstacles, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in the Architecture industry.
3. Strong experience in managing projects within the Hospitality and/or K-12 sectors.
4. Proficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
5. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal regulations.
6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in managing risks and challenges.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and liaise with various stakeholders.
9. Architectural license (RA) is a plus.
