The Phlebotomist Floater is responsible for performing blood collections, processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient and billing records across multiple locations. This role requires phlebotomy certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while working independently or in a team. **Pay Range: $17.75 - $24.50 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-8:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Full Time- will be scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
Work Location: Chicago, Orland Park, Chicago Heights, Joliet, Kankakee and Woodstock, IL

Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
Must be at least 21 years’ old
At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
