Job Description:
  • The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who arrive for routine health needs or important health decisions.
  • The Entry PSR I supports patient care by greeting patients, answering questions with care and compassion, maintaining the waiting area, and assisting with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
  • This role includes training on phlebotomy skills to support career growth.
  • The Entry PSR I creates a trusting environment while explaining procedures to patients safely and accurately.
  • The individual upholds confidentiality, accuracy, and excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Duties include performing daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment, keeping required records and documentation, and promoting a positive image while demonstrating willingness to learn.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • bility to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins through a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
  • Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or when coverage is needed.
  • bility to perform specimen collection and processing duties once trained, following established practices and procedures.
  • High level of customer service skills.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience required.
  • No prior phlebotomy experience required.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.
