Hiawatha HomeCare has immediate opportunities for compassionate nurses to provide 1:1 care for our pediatric client, located in Barron, WI!

*Requirements:*
* Must have an active RN or LPN license in Wisconsin.
* No experience necessary! Will train the right candidate!

*Position Summary:*
* You would care for an 8-year-old girl in her home.
* Full-time, part-time & PRN hours are available.

*Pay:*
* Registered Nurse (RN): Up to $29.50 per hour (DOQ)
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Up to $21.33 per hour (DOQ)

*Core Responsibilities:*
* Provides home care nursing in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
* Reports significant changes in the client's condition to the family, RN Clinical Manager, & physician.
* Obtains physician orders for changing client care needs.
* Maintains accurate & current plan of care, physician's orders, and medication profile for the client.
* Charts cares thoroughly & accurately during shift.
* Provides advice & support to the client's family.

The birth of Ted & Karen Seifert's son, Michael, led to the birth of Hiawatha HomeCare. Michael was born in 1985 with a rare & serious illness, and he ultimately needed to be put on a ventilator. His parents were told that he would spend his entire life in the ICU, but his mom said, "Babies need to be with their families." And so Michael came home on life support. Michael was Hiawatha's first client, and this experience became the foundation of our continued commitment & dedication to keep families together through home health care.
